“I’m not afraid to stand beside those who are dealing with the effects of trauma, and I’m open to helping you work through those feelings. I believe that my role is to be completely present during the therapeutic process, serving as a guide and facilitator for my clients. I strive to create the safest space possible for people to express and process their feelings while learning how to better cope with stress, anxiety, and depression.

As a Black woman in America, I understand the painful and traumatic effects that living with racism and discrimination can have. I also know the struggles of living in areas of the country that lack ethnic diversity in the general population. So, if you’re looking specifically for a therapist who shares your experience and is willing to discuss and help you with these issues, please feel free to reach out to me.

I also work with couples of all types who are facing issues in their relationship and need guidance in areas such as: communication, infidelity recovery, compromising, and emotional intimacy. Additionally, if you and your  (ex)partner are already on the path of separation/divorce and have children, I can assist you both with transitional communication skills and general co-parenting going forward.

So, whatever issue you may find yourself facing today, please consider me as an option to help you on your journey toward improved mental health!

Special note: *I’m currently only seeing adult clients (21+). Also I do not take on clients who are actively self harming or actively suicidal. If that is the case, please refer to someone with specific training/experience in those areas or seek emergency services. Thank you.
