Telehealth
Are you a busy stay-at-home parent? Do you have demanding job that makes it’s difficult to leave the office? Or do you simply struggle with transportation? If any of these circumstances apply to you, then telehealth services may allow you to get the treatment you need without going into the office. Telehealth lets you save time because there is no need to travel to an appointment. You can also avoid sitting in a waiting room or having to take time off from work.
All you need to get started is a phone, tablet, or computer.
Confidentiality When Using Telehealth
While there are a number of benefits to using telehealth, there also are some risks. With telehealth services there is the possibility that the transmission of your confidential information could be disrupted by technical failures or perhaps intercepted by unauthorized persons. To minimize that possibility, all of the therapists at FCD conduct their telehealth sessions using a platform that is HIPAA compliant – meaning that we have taken all reasonable precautions to operate in a secure and confidential space, minimizing interruptions and distractions.
Tips for a Successful Session

- If you find that you are not comfortable with the telehealth format, bring this up with your provider.
