M.A. Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Carolyn primarily works with adults and adolescents, and loves both individual as well as marriage counseling. Her approach to therapy employs a holistic model of counseling, as she believes each individual is more than their particular symptoms or struggles. Carolyn’s primary method for treating clients is through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), however, she also utilizes other treatment modalities that can be integrated and work well with CBT. Through her training at Liberty University and Colorado Christian University, Carolyn has developed a strong foundation in Biblical principles and teachings. Should her clients request Biblical integration, she is more than capable of doing so and believes this can be hugely beneficial in the therapeutic process.
Carolyn loves spending time with her husband, and they enjoy cooking together, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and board games. Carolyn especially enjoys spending time in nature (when the weather cooperates) and finds much peace in observing creation, whether it be the water, woods, or mountains.
