am very boundary and communication oriented. Effective communication originates from the heart – empathy is the goal. You are the driver and I help guide you. Together we create life changing experiences, a new respect for self and others. As a team we teach each other. My job is to help empower you. My approach is eclectic and evidence based. Empathy is my favorite characteristic because it’s the primary expression of love and compassion. For many of us, empathy doesn’t come easy – it can be learned and when it comes, it can make all the difference to your world and sense of wellbeing.

I work with you to help serve your needs – individually, with your family, significant other, or whomever you please. I work well with any combination of family members, blended families, same sex unions, and any religion or non-religious preference.

Many of my clients come suffering with addictions of all kinds. As their family members are as adversely affected, I work with them as well – individually and collectively – helping them to recover and forgive and learn important life lessons in the process. I work especially well with those who used to be diagnosed with Asperger’s, and is now listed in the DSM 5 as Autism Spectrum Disorder and also those afflicted with ADHD, Bipolar and other mood disorders and PTSD, individually, family or couples; adolescents, children and parents. These disorders do affect the whole family and be very devastating to everyone involved.

I am eclectic in my approach. I utilize selected aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, 12-Step orientation, Spiritual, Meditation, Mindfulness, Selected reading and even movie therapy – I draw upon research and practical application. I draw upon my own experience. Confidentiality is essential – even between those married and in families together. Instead of communicating for you, I help clients to communicate what needs to be said for themselves. I aid in that process by helping to create vulnerability and intimacy within relationships.
