Chris received a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, and is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. He comes to counseling from a diverse background of experiences including white water raft guiding, Nordic ski instruction, public school teaching at the high school level, and juvenile diversion programs.

Chris works with adults, couples, and adolescents with a range of needs including depression, anxiety, substance abuse and their myriad combinations.  He takes a holistic approach to counseling regarding a client’s mental, physical, and spiritual fitness as indicators and contributors to “mental and emotional inflammation.” Within this approach Chris often employs cognitive behavioral and solution-focused strategies.
